The Island Princess is a Coast Guard Certified and Inspected Vessel. The Island Princess is 82 feet in overall length and is licensed to carry up to 150 Passengers. 

Island Princess Cruises was founded in 1988 in Stuart, Florida and has been offering cruises on the local waters of the Treasure Coast ever since. Captain Bob Miller and his wife Lori purchased the business in 2002 (They met in 1988 and later married on a large charter yacht out of Fort Lauderdale. Lori was the  manager in the dining salon while Bob was Captain).  Since then they have continued the outstanding reputation and tradition of offering sightseeing cruises and private charters on the Indian River, St. Lucie River and Jupiter Sound.

Meet Our Crew

Captain Bob, as everyone calls him, is a Coast Guard Licensed US Merchant Marine Officer.  He is trained in safety, basic fire-fighting, and first aid.  He has been a Captain for over 30 years and has been at the helm of everything from tugboats to yachts. 

Captain Bob, who majored in Marine Biology in College, will offer you an informative narration while acquainting you with many bird sanctuaries, nature preserves and other points of interest along the waterway.  He will be looking for manatee, dolphin or stingrays that cruise the waters of the Treasure Coast.
